TruReader

By using our TruReader application, you can validate the TruSeal™ and open (extract) the .tru file to read the contents.

Click the Validate 'Validate and Extract' button below.

Browse and locate the .tru file on your desktop or local folder.

TruSeal™ will take a few seconds to check the validity of the seal.

TruReader requires Java to be enabled in your browser.
You can download it here and then refresh this page.

If the seal is successful, the Who, What and When properties of the file are listed in the window above.

Once the file has been validated, it is automatically placed next to the .tru file saved on your desktop or local folder. This file can then be opened with its appropriate software application.

If you are experiencing difficulties in validating and/or extracting a file, please email our support team.

What is TruSeal?

TruSeal is a simple, convenient and cost effective way to safeguard the evidential strength and integrity of any digital data.

A unique digital fingerprint and time stamp are applied to electronic data including imagery, video and audio files to verify authenticity, detect tampering and maintain compliance any time, anywhere, by anyone.

A TruSeal can be validated from any online location. If the TruSealed file has been tampered with in anyway, the validation will fail making that tampering evident. Conversely, if the validation succeeds, TruSeal demonstrates the integrity of the file to the highest evidential standards.

What is Tru Reader?

TruReader is a java applet (a small plug-in that runs in your web browser), to use TruReader you will need Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.4.2 or later.

How does TruReader Work?

TruReader gives you the option to Validate and Extract a TruSealed file. The Validation process is used to ensure that the contents of the TruSealed file are exactly the same as when the TruSeal was created. The Extraction process extracts or opens the contents of the TruSealed file.

If the TruSeal is intact the Who, What, When properties of the file will be listed in the window in the TruReader web page.

If the TruSeal validation fails it could indicate that your internet connection has been lost, please try to revalidate. If the problem persists please contact the originator of the seal for further clarification.
